Innovative Designs

Way back in 1973 Sidi revolutionized the cycling shoe by incorporating the adjustable cleat position. In 1985 Sidi invented the world’s first dedicated MTB shoe and followed that by producing the first cycling shoe with a mono-filament Boa buckle. More recently Sidi debuted the Adjustable Heel Security System, allowing riders to customize shoe fit at the heel. In 2016 Sidi introduced another new innovation, the Techno-3 Push system that dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapts the upper to the rider’s foot for a customized fit and releases at the push of a button.

The Ergo-5 matches the best shoes in the market, while the Wire-2 and Shot surpass them all! Thus, the Ergo-5 retains the elite features that make this model one of the top road shoes in the world! Constructed of a solid “TechPro Microfiber” elite upper. Available in numerous colors and offered in standard and mega-width men’s sizes. The “twelve carbon fiber sole” is an injected carbon fiber in a matrix of nylon offers a firm, no flex, feel on the pedals. The classic Sidi “soft instep closure” is combined with the “single techo-3 push” boa-type buckle system to provide an anatomically customized fit. “High Security Velcro” straps ensure longer-lasting components, for security and durability.

Additional Features: Sidi’s famous heel cup system always ensures a comfortable encapsulated fit. Seams are double stitched in all high stress areas. Features Sidi’s replaceable anti-slip heel pad and replaceable toe vent system. Features vented side area allow the cyclist feet to breathe.
