Innovative Designs

Way back in 1973 Sidi revolutionized the cycling shoe by incorporating the adjustable cleat position. In 1985 Sidi invented the world’s first dedicated MTB shoe and followed that by producing the first cycling shoe with a mono-filament Boa buckle. More recently Sidi debuted the Adjustable Heel Security System, allowing riders to customize shoe fit at the heel. In 2016 Sidi introduced another new innovation, the Techno-3 Push system that dials in fit along the entire length of the shoe, adapts the upper to the rider’s foot for a customized fit and releases at the push of a button.

The Wire was the top Sidi road shoe till the Shot was released. The Wire retains the elite features that make this model one of the top road shoes in the world! Constructed of a solid or a perforated (AIR) “TechPro Microfiber” upper, this material offers the most technical versatile synthetic leather, incorporating performance features of stability, H2O repellency, and durability. Offered in numerous colors and available in standard men’s and ladies’ sizes only. The handmade vented carbon outer sole provides excellent power transfer and 4-season air circulation to the cyclist’s foot. Sidi’s exclusive “adjustable heel retention system” ensures no power is lost due to slippage on each stroke of the pedal while the classic Sidi “soft instep closure” system combined with the “single techo-3 push” boa-type wire closure ensures a comfortable overall fit.

Additional Features: Sidi’s famous heel cup system always ensures a comfortable encapsulated fit. Seams are double stitched in all high stress areas. Features Sidi’s replaceable anti-slip heel pad and replaceable toe vent system. Carbon fiber outer sole designed in weave pattern for both stiffness and controlled flex in toe.
